PlovJSON V1 is designed so the formatter does not need your JSON to leave your browser. Formatting, minifying, validation, key sorting and tree rendering are performed locally by browser JavaScript.

What PlovJSON does not need

No account is required. No advertising or analytics SDK is required. No database or JSON-processing API is required for the formatter itself.

Local files

If you open a .json file, the browser reads the file for the current session so the formatter can process it locally.

Hosting

The website files are served from PlovJSON infrastructure, but the JSON formatting workflow is intentionally client-side. The production Content Security Policy also blocks application network connections that the formatter does not require.

Support payments

If you choose to support PlovJSON, the payment flow opens Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe processes the payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. PlovJSON does not receive or store your card details.
